Good to see you again!
I like this picture. Poor tree. It's not like you feel a nice park is behind that scene. More something the government hasn't spent money on for a long time.
Indeed, and might i add that pwn-age has been going strong for over a decade?! (as has the tree's dominance over the rule). Hopefully,in this lifetime, the tree will indeed devour & conceal the sign in its entirety

Thank you, and same to you as well. Please check out my current journal for promise & explanation.
It was once a fairly nice park, now although it seems to have lost its charm as have the swings there begun to rust,it still brings back some old memories of better days (and scenery).
In agreement with your comment on government,it seems the only money spent on the area was the amount necessary to display a new (and humorously contradictory) sign.[link]

Haha, a very nice conclusion to the series...I think there are some very interesting things you could do composition-wise to make this even more interesting to your viewer, as this is just a straight-on shot....nice work waiting for the right moment, though. I can imagine it took a while.
Thank you,and thanks for noticing. As far as composition improvements, what do you suggest?
Indeed it took a few years! At first, the 'no' was of course not covered enough.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
